In the midst of waffling U.S. statements on whether Mubarak should stay or go, I thought I would share this gem of an article that my dear friend Mark Lomedico shared with me.

“U.S. Negotiating Mubarak’s Severance Package”


In an effort to provide monetary compensation to the Egyptian president for three decades of faithful service, U.S. officials opened negotiations with Hosni Mubarak Tuesday, offering him a severance package worth $20 million upon termination of his employment.
